Is this weekend private?

Absolutely. Our weekends are planned to give you dedicated private time with your spouse, and you won’t have to share anything about your marriage in front of anyone else. We’ll equip you with the tools to privately work on your marriage as a team and communicate in the privacy of your hotel room.

What age group is this for?

All ages, truly. Our weekends use timeless, proven methods and tools, so no matter what age you are– or what walk of life you’re from– we genuinely believe that Marriage Encounter is for you.

How long do we need to be married to attend?

Marriage Encounter is intentionally designed to allow couples of any stage of marriage to attend. So whether you’re just settling down, running the kids to soccer, or enjoying your empty nest, this weekend is for you.

When do the sessions take place?

The first session begins Friday evening at 8:00 p.m. after check-in, and the final session concludes at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.  You and your spouse will experience unique presentations and dynamic discussions in the comfort of a secluded environment.

Will there be any forced, corny moments?

Not at all. There’s no circle time or singing kumbaya, no embarrassing skits, and no role-playing in front of others. We believe that meaningful connections can happen without doing anything cheesy or forced.

How do you do all of this for $125?

We’re able to provide two nights in a quality hotel, 5 top-quality meals, and a weekend full of encounters for $125 because the weekend you'll be attending has already been paid for by couples who were previously on a Marriage Encounter Weekend.  Near the end of your weekend, you'll be given the opportunity to Pay it Forward for someone else to attend. Most couples can afford to give– and after experiencing the weekend, they do! Funding our weekends this way allows us to make the weekend available to anyone who wants to have a great marriage. The registration fee of $125 is required to secure your reservation for the weekend.
